“The Chateau Thomas Table, pairing to perfection” cookbook was inspired during the planning of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Chateau Thomas Winery, January 24th 2009.  For the last 10 years, at our Plainfield winery we have been serving great food to patrons of our banquet facility, The Vineyard Room but in lieu of those commercial recipes, we sought to include instead, those masterpieces treasured by our owners, our staff, our friends and families.  They have parted with some of their most personal and treasured recipes in order that his book might rise to the greatness emblematic of Chateau Thomas.  Woven between these most treasured recipes is the story of soul of Chateau Thomas Winery, the man who created it, Dr. Charles Thomas, its genesis and his love and life partner who has inspired him, Jill Thomas.  The book is dedicated to the loyal and devoted employees of Chateau Thomas Winery without who its success could not have been achieved.
